Facebook will provide the right kind of market platform to buy and sell vehicles as it recently announced a series of partnerships with auto dealership listing sites.
Facebook has seen an up rise in the car listings from the day it launched the Marketplace feature in October 2016. This platform features a wide-ranging vehicles category that gives you an option to search the car of your choice by using year, model, mileage, and price. This out-and-out segment for vehicle purchasing and vending comprises full dealerships inventories and contact support of direct dealer. In the past 6 months, the direct discussions between buyers and sellers has been increased up to 77%.
Facebook has no plan to charge on transactions but it will broadcast ads within the Marketplace. There will be no issue for the dealers to pay for such ads if they could get their hands on any serious buyer.
According to Facebook’s Product Manager Bowen Pan, “Autos are one of the most popular categories of Marketplace. Millions of people in the US alone are looking at used cars, motorbikes, and other vehicle listings every day.”
Presently, the feature is only available in the US. But as soon as they make a complete plan, they will surely provide this platform worldwide. Facebook is now not only a social app but a complete business place.
