Lenovo Officially Launched Yoga 500 Multi-mode PC

Lenovo has official launched the Yoga 500 multi-mode PC. The machine has inherited dual hinge design are characteristics of the Yoga, allow: 14 inch and 15.6 inch, the configuration is upgraded with Intel Core i Series new generation software and price than Yoga Pro line.

Lenovo Yoga 500 14 Inch

Lenovo Yoga 500 orientation for in the intermediate segment, classified under Yoga Pro version. Machine design is quite thick, the 14 Inch is 21.5 mm longer and 15.6 Inch is 22.2 mm with 1.8 kg weight machine. Enclosure is made of plastic handle slightly textured surface, exposed feeling good but sticking. The shell has 3 black, white and red. At launching, Lenovo only offers the 14 Inch and this version has 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI, audio jack, 2 in 1 and LAN port, quite complete needs make regular use.

Touchscreen on Yoga 500 is completed well with a glass covering the entire display space and outer edges. The screen is mounted to the chassis via two dual hinge, 360 degree swivel angle. Design hinges on Yoga 500 similar first generation, metal and industrial design rather stylized as clock wires on Yoga 3 Pro.

Flexible hinge opens 4 modes use different modes including traditional clamshell computer, projection mode (stand mode), tablet mode when folded whole (tablet mode) and mode hut (tent mode). Experience on site shows hinge hold open but the screen when folded to manipulate the touch screen is still bouncing slightly on the fingers. This is the weakness of the lines of this old Yoga and Lenovo still have no solutions. In return, the Lenovo has equipped the machine quality IPS panels, Full HD 1080p resolution touch 10 touch points. The screen has anti-glare function and a wide viewing angle, two characteristics necessary for a multi-mode machines used as Yoga 500. Lenovo continued use Dolby technologies on Yoga 500.

Keyboard and drag on Yoga 500 standard design, U-shaped keys, Chiclet-style layout but no backlit backlight – one fitted is gradually becoming standard on many high-end mainframe line. Below the keyboard is a multitouch table drag ClickPad large size with 2 mouse keys immersed. In the configuration, the Lenovo offers a variety of configuration options for the two versions of 14 Inch and 15.6 Inch but unfortunately no Core i7 processor options. Both machines are with 2 year factory warranty.

Lenovo Yoga 500 15.6 InchThis is a small sample lightweight computer, fashions for young people. Machine with 14 Inch screen, slim 19.5 mm, weighing between 1.65 kg and aluminum casing with 3 color options including black ebony, silver and red flamenco. The design of the U41 is very similar to the version U430 but more cuts to keep the price to a more comfortable level, such as no option touch screen, the screen resolution is only in HD, the keyboard is not backlit.
