Nokia Lumia 930 Price & Release Date

Microsoft recently unveiled Lumia Devices highest this year, the machine will be available in mid-July in market.

Nokia has yet to announce a release date for the Lumia 930, but has said that it will be available in late-June, early July.

According to the official announcement from the manufacturer, Nokia Lumia 930 has a retail price of $599. Nokia has yet to announce availability details, but said that the Lumia 930 will fetch around $599 when it goes on sale.

Basically, smartphone Lumia 930 is the international version of the Lumia Icon (Lumia 929) which was sold exclusively in the U.S. from late 2013 through Verizon.

Nokia Lumia 930 is equipped with AMOLED screen size of 5 inches with a resolution of Full HD with the Nokia’s proprietary ClearBlack technology.

In terms of design, Lumia 930 is considered the most beautiful in the Windows Phone line thanks to the metal frame and different styles.

Providing power from 800 Snapdragon processor speed of 2.2 GHz, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, PureView 20MP camera, Carl Zeiss high-capacity 2,420 mAh battery.

Nokia clearly is hoping that its latest flagship smartphone, thanks to its updated software and top-end specifications, will help it fight off competition from the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2 to boost Windows Phone’s UK market

The Nokia Lumia 920’s standout feature is its 5 inch screen, which boasts a Full HD 1080×1920 resolution and Nokia’s Clearblack display technology, which the firm claims offers 180 degree viewing angles.

There’s a 20MP camera on the rear of the Lumia 930, a huge improvement compared to the 8MP snapper found on the Lumia 925.

Nokia’s usual top-end camera features are onboard, including Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stablisation and LED flash. It is also capable of shooting HD 1080p video, and there’s also a 1.2MP camera on the front of the device. Nokia has used a 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor, along with 6 elements Ziess lens autofocus and dual LED flash. The primary rear camera can be used to record full HD 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. There is a 1.2MP front camera that can record 720p HD video part.

Under the bonnet, the Nokia Lumia 930 has a 2420 mAh battery, which the firm claims will offer up to 15.5 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 18 days. Wireless charging support is also included, and the phone will ship with a free wireless charger.

Other specifications include Bluetooth 4.0, 32GB of internal storage (without a microSD card slot) and support for 4G LTE connectivity.

The Lumia 930 comes with some great applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft One Note, Microsoft OneDrive, Skype, Xbox Live, Internet Explorer 10, etc.

As for design, the Nokia Lumia 930 measures 137x71x9.8mm and tips the scales at 167g. It is built out of aluminium and polycarbonate plastic, and will be available in four colours: black, white, orange and green.
